This bug apparently existed on the original pc version which the collection was ported from, and was never fixed in the collection.
I lost about 5 hours of gameplay to this bug on Switch, which was particularly frustrating as I was playing it on the highest difficulty.Īdmittedly the bug seems to be somewhat rare, as apparently it also exists on the ps4 version, which I platinumd without encountering it, but man was I angry when it happened on Switch, going from completely having researched the little sisters/rosies/leadheads/nitros/spiders (on survival difficulty, which eats through resources and requires tons of saving/reloading/scroungingnhitandruntactics, to being forced back to the auto save where I didn't even have the camera and had just entered the level was infuriating, to the point I wished I hadn't even bought it for the 10 bucks I paid for it.
Make sure to keep two consecutive save files, the collections have a bug where it has the potential to crash your game while saving and corrupt your save file.
